1. Agreement to these terms

By browsing this website, creating an account, enquiring, enrolling in a programme or relying on a credential we issue, you agree to these terms. If you enrol on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. About MSDI

MSDI is an SSM-registered Malaysian training provider and a registered HRD Corp training provider. Accreditation details for individual programmes are published on each programme page.

3. Our services

We provide short programmes, professional certifications and formal qualifications, Recognition of Prior Experiential Learning (RPEL) assessment, corporate training with HRD Corp claims handling, and a public credential verification service.

4. Accounts and eligibility

• You must provide accurate, current information and keep it updated.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
• You must be at least 18 to hold an account; APEL A admission additionally requires a minimum age of 21.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

5. Enrolment and admission

Enrolment is complete when we confirm your seat in writing and applicable fees are settled or sponsorship is confirmed. Admission to accredited qualifications is subject to entry requirements, including RPEL outcomes where applicable. RPEL assessment decisions are final, subject to the appeal process we communicate to candidates.

6. Fees, invoicing and taxes

• All fees are quoted and payable in Ringgit Malaysia (RM).
• Listed prices include SST where applicable; any change in tax law applies from its effective date.
• Invoices are payable by the due date stated; we may withhold credentials or suspend access for unpaid fees.
• Instalment plans, where offered, are stated on the programme page or in your offer letter.
• Refunds are governed by the refund policy.

7. HRD Corp sponsored training

Where training is claimed against an employer levy, the employer remains responsible for grant applications being truthful, for learner attendance meeting HRD Corp requirements, and for fees that HRD Corp declines to disburse. We prepare and submit claim documentation as described on the corporate training page.

8. Changes and cancellations by MSDI

We may reschedule sessions, replace trainers of equivalent competence or move a delivery online where circumstances require. If we cancel an intake, you choose between a full refund and a free transfer to the next intake. We are not liable for travel or other consequential costs.

9. Learner conduct and academic integrity

You agree not to plagiarise, falsify RPEL evidence, impersonate others in assessment, harass learners or staff, or record and redistribute sessions without permission. Breaches may lead to failed assessment, withdrawal from a programme without refund, or revocation of an issued credential, following a documented review.

10. Credentials and verification

Credentials are issued after all completion requirements are met and fees settled. Each credential carries a unique code verifiable on our public verification page. A credential remains our record; we may revoke one obtained through fraud or error, and the verification page will reflect its current status. You may share your credential freely, including on professional networks.

11. Intellectual property

Course materials, assessments, the MSDI name and this platform are owned by MSDI or our licensors. Enrolled learners receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use materials for their own study. You may not copy, sell, share or use materials to deliver training without our written consent.

12. Acceptable use of the platform

You must not attempt to breach security, scrape personal data, submit false contact or verification requests in bulk, or interfere with the service. We may rate limit, suspend or block activity that threatens the platform or other users.

13. Privacy

Personal data is handled under our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

14. Disclaimers

We deliver training and credentials with professional skill and care, but we do not guarantee employment, promotion, licensing outcomes or specific business results. Programme content reflects regulation and industry practice at the time of delivery. The website is provided on an as-is basis to the extent permitted by law.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, our total liability arising from or related to a programme is limited to the fees you paid for that programme, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for fraud.

16. Indemnity

You indemnify MSDI against claims arising from your breach of these terms, your infringement of third-party rights or false information you provide, except to the extent we caused the loss.

17. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment or unlawful activity. You may close your account at any time; clauses that by nature survive (including fees owed, intellectual property, liability and credential records) continue to apply.

18. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, after good-faith attempts to resolve the matter directly with us first.

19. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. The date above shows the current version; material changes will be notified to account holders by email before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance.
