Teach with MSDI
Deliver accredited programmes to working professionals across Malaysia. You bring the expertise and the war stories; we bring the learners, the operations and the accreditation.
Why trainers stay
Independent trainers spend half their time on admin and sales. MSDI exists so you can spend that time teaching.
Reach beyond your network
Online live delivery puts your expertise in front of learners and corporate cohorts across Malaysia, not just the companies that already know you.
Operations handled
Enrolment, scheduling, attendance records, HRD Corp evidence packs and credential issuance are run by MSDI. You prepare and deliver; we do the rest.
Credibility that compounds
Your sessions sit inside HRD Corp claimable, industry-recognised programmes, with QR-verified credentials at the end. That standard reflects on you.
Three payout models
Agreed upfront in your trainer agreement, paid in RM against a monthly statement. No opaque deductions, no chasing invoices.
Per session
A fixed rate for each delivered session, agreed before the cohort starts. Best for trainers who teach alongside a consulting or industry practice.
Most common for short programmes
Fixed engagement
One agreed fee for an entire cohort or module block, covering delivery and marking. Predictable for you, simple for planning.
Common for certifications and diplomas
Revenue share
A percentage of net programme revenue for trainers who co-develop a programme with us and carry it across intakes. Your upside grows with the programme.
For co-developed programmes
What we look for
Every MSDI trainer is vetted before their first session and reviewed against learner feedback after every cohort. The bar, in practice:
- Current, hands-on practice in your field; our trainers teach what they still do
- Typically 5+ years of relevant industry experience, with depth you can evidence
- Teaching, coaching or assessment experience, formal or on the job
- HRD Corp accredited trainer status (TTT certificate or exemption) for claimable programmes, or willingness to obtain it
- Professional registrations where the subject demands them, such as DOSH-related credentials for OSH topics
- Commitment to learner outcomes, including marking turnaround and cohort feedback
How to apply
- 1
Send your profile and proposal
Share your CV, the topics you want to teach and a short outline of how you would deliver them. If you have a programme idea of your own, pitch that too.
- 2
Review and micro-teaching
Our academic team reviews your profile against the programme standards, then invites you to a conversation and a short micro-teaching session.
- 3
Onboard and schedule
We agree the payout model, complete vetting and paperwork, and schedule your first cohort. You get a dedicated operations contact from day one.
The trainer portal, with scheduling, attendance and payout statements in one place, arrives soon. Until then your operations contact coordinates everything by email, and payout statements are sent monthly.
